And survived the heat

Saw turtles, lions
Visited with an old friend
Day spent on dry land

Head to toe in sand
Running, rolling, and digging
Learning a new game

The kids packed their bags
They carried, they rolled the heft
No frustrated words

House filled with actions
The Lego explosion won
To do list delayed

Approvals, proxies
Terminations and timecards
That was my Friday
