LIghts dim and papers flutter

My list and I spar

The colored boxes

Drive the technology bus

Hey, they are moving

As the room emptied

The stress crashed onto the floor

I kicked it with glee

School project looming

Scissors slash fabric, paper

Remnants dress the floor

Haunted by work thoughts

I awoke in mental muck

The day washed away
