As summer air swept through March
Erased winter gloom

Then we ordered our last meal
Tax news was up next

From their tiny chairs
The parents hear what happens
When kids go public

In daylight, I fled
Cars parked in stanchions like cows
Corporate milking

I slept eight hours
Awoken by the spring sun
Goodbye winter naps
