Amongst skyscrapers

We saw it years past
The door, the brick, white walls then
Drink list déjà vu

It’s going to change
But for now it is gentle
Soon the work will come

I broke my curfew
As I chose after work drinks
And I recharged me

You should trust doctors
Stories emerge with horror
Egos gone awry

Quiet until ten
The kids slept off their weekend
I etched out me time

The priest ranted on
Launching Catholic buzzwords
Does he notice us?
