I hear “The Simpsons”
When we dive onto the couch
As the lockdown starts

Inside our garage
My new care waits patiently
Dreaming of road trips

As our spring break ends
We exploded some kittens
And rewrote Jenga

A corrupt salesman
He bungles the pandemic
And ignores death counts

The days are fuzzy
Same rooms, routines and outlook
Counts climb uncontrolled

While the virus spreads
Presidential inaction
But states fill his void

Is it criminal
To do nothing with power
Other than push lies?

A Johns Hopkins trip
Our college visit canceled
Now we stalk their map

Our spring break revamp
Searched our house for distraction
Found the game of Life
