Connections bolstered

The yard’s weed pile swells
As the week’s chaos replays
Then quiet steps up

Our game night returns
Finals done, it’s backyard time
This summer begins

Friday catch up day
Then work crafted barricades
My task list cowered

Minnesota June
With chilly mosquito air
Made better with friends

Workday spilled over
But waited for the cookies
Because… well… life wins
