One car torments another

We watch in stealth mode

The college shadows

With their multiple voices

Bammed the campus tour

We followed students
Who walked backward through campus
Yet miss why this school

The venomous day

Plopped endless pits in our path

Each one took a fight

On hold for each trip
An ignored global entry
Delta platinum

With fall leaves scattered
The backyard pleaded its case
Won decisively

Mid-October snow
Minnesota novelty
Please, don’t start this now

The evidence pops
Yet we wait for indictments
Some are more equal

A friend recovers
Clinging to my phone for news
Until my phone fails

The night changed its course
And my disruptor joined in
We grabbed the moment
