Books, school, trips, college
A steady chatty meal won
Our game time delayed

The cats stay awake
Must feel like summer is near
See their backyard friends

We live in voices
Close, distant, and off the map
Now we get to choose

Remembered hot days
Wearing shorts in mid-April
Lost AirPods, now found

My plan for today
Was ripped up by a crisis
Now where’s that tape?
