That fences are good even
In the business world

Bought it months ago
Trusting there would be a day
Where its voice would sing

My kid has no vault
But I have no poker face
No spy games for us

Thirsty fuel tank
A twenty below windchill
Makes me hate winter

The side streets sold out
As ice smothered the pavement
And made parking spots

The confused sky spit
Sleet, snow and blew icy breath
Scared blue skies away

I really missed Dave
But my eyes spied the buffet
And I missed that too

Others were in school
We strolled through lonesome Uptown
Slowed by the lake snow

The cold ran away
But doused us in crystal tears
I shoveled in warmth

We had suspicions
Could our neighborhood expand?
